The Aquinnah Cultural Center is offering a one-day workshop to teach tribal families how to make pucker-toe mahkusunash. This hands-on workshop will be held in person and led by tribal elder Linda Coombs.

This workshop is intended for Aquinnah Wampanoag tribal families and our sister communities.

The ACC will provide leather and other necessary supplies. If you wish to use your own leather or continue working on a previously-started pair of mahkusunash, you are encouraged to!

This workshop is part of a series of cultural arts and business skills workshops produced by the Aquinnah Cultural Center (ACC). The ACC is dedicated to empowering the next generation of Wampanoag artists and entrepreneurs.
