Beverly Wright is former Chairperson of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head/Aquinnah, former  Chairperson of the Committee to Relocate the Historic Gay Head Lighthouse, and former Selectmen & Treasurer of the Town of Aquinnah. As a proud elder of the WTGH/A, Mrs. Wright has dedicated her life's work to keeping her Tribe’s cultural traditions alive and ensuring that each generation can do the same. She serves as a volunteer at Island Grown Initiative (MV) and Covent House Food Pantry (West Virginia), and is a board member of Thunderbird Industries, Charleston, West Virginia.
